Important Note: Local results depend on your market. A new business going up against a competitor with many reviews has a longer climb than one with less. We will be upfront with the time line before you spend anything.

Common Questions
Do I need a physical address to rank?
No. Service area businesses can rank without displaying an address, but the setup has to be right. Hiding your address incorrectly is a common reason listings underperform or get suspended.
Why did my listing get suspended?
Because Google is stupid. Ok, just joking! Usually its a service area misconfiguration, a keyword stuffed into the business name, an address that cannot be verified, or a competitor reporting you. Most suspensions are recoverable when handled quickly and correctly. So, no need to panic or get consumed by Google; we will fight them for you to get back what is yours.
My listing was never verified. Can you help?
Yes! Verification is where a lot of businesses get stuck, especially service area businesses and anyone whose video verification failed or whose address Google would not accept. It is one of the things we handle most often. We do at times ask for your help to let us on the property to do a video in person for you; however, we can verify it other ways if that isn’t an option.
How important are reviews?
They are very important. We can’t stress that enough! They influence your ranking, and they are often the deciding factor between you and the business listed below you. Responding matters as much as collecting, because it shows a real company is behind the profile.
It is also important to reply to reviews quickly as it helps show Google you are a quality business.
Do you get the reviews for me?
Monthly management includes the tools and templates to request reviews from your customers, and we respond to every review that comes in. Running the outreach campaign for you is available separately if you are overwhelmed by getting reviews.
What happened to the Q&A section on my listing?
Google discontinued it in late 2025 and replaced it with AI-generated answers. Customers now ask questions and Google’s AI responds using your profile, your reviews, your photos, and your website. You can no longer write those answers yourself, which makes the accuracy of everything else far more important.
Does my profile matter for AI search?
Yes. It is one of the strongest sources AI tools pull from for local recommendations. Complete, consistent, and active profiles are easier for any system to trust.
Can I just do this myself?
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to do the setup. At times it can be tricky and time-consuming. The ongoing part is where most owners fall off. Posts, photos, review responses, and monitoring do not happen during a busy week, and that consistency is most of the value.
How is this different from SEO?
Your profile controls how you appear in the map results. SEO covers your whole search presence, including your website. They work together, and for most local service businesses the profile moves first.
Will I own my profile?
Yes. It is your listing under your Google account. We work inside it as an additional owner. The reason we ask for ownership vs. management is that it gives us the access we need to handle anything that comes up. If you decide to discontinue services, the GBP stays yours; you just remove us from the profile access.
Am I locked into a contract?
No long-term lock-in! If the work is not worth what you are paying, you should be able to leave.
We do ask, though, to give us a full 30 days ‘ notice before your next monthly payment if you wish to cancel. Also, we encourage you to be patient with GPB rankings because it can take time..
